OpenVME Versions General Support Information In line with the OpenVME Release, Maintenance and Support Policy as detailed in the Advance Release Descriptions (ARD's) for both OpenVME Version 3 and OpenVME Version 4, Fujitsu Services also stated that full support for OpenVME Version 2 would no longer be available as of the 1st December 2001. Customers should upgrade to a supported version, preferably the latest version of OpenVME, to ensure their system is fully supported. As defined in the ARD, certain older peripherals will not be supported. Please contact the HPS Help Desk for assistance if required. From 1st December 2001 customers who choose to remain on OpenVME Version 2 will only be provided with software error corrections to known problems.
