It is now possible to use MOVE_PARTITION on a partition which is in use and is also within a simplex category.
This is a standard feature of OVME7GR but at OVME6GR users must have FN/K/1071 applied to their loadsets. Prior to this enhancement, users were recommended to set the TARGET_PLEX_WIDTH on the category to 2 even for a category where simplex use was planned. This was to ensure that it would be possible to move a partition whilst the category was in use; however this recommendation has a side effect of generating a warning of -92146 "TARGET PLEX WIDTH OF CATEGORY DIFFERS FROM CURRENT NUMBER OF PLEXES" when adding any new simplex partition to such a category.
Once this repair has been applied on all loadsets at OVME6GR, and for all users at OVME7GR, the command CHANGE_DISC_CATEGORY_DETAILS may be used to reduce the target plex width to 1 for any category that is always used in simplex mode but has a target plex width >1.
