VME Superstructure Products - Additional Information.
Recommended Repair States have been defined for many
VME superstructure products and are documented in Support
Knowledge Entries (SKEs).
If a Repair envelope exists, then the product should be
maintained with AUDIT / APPLY_REPAIRS and Repairs can be
obtained using the resource retrieval facilities in SAM.
The range of products maintained in this way is increasing - check
SAM News Index for latest list of envelopes available.
Other Repairs may be found on the PC-PARIS SAV databases.
Paper copies of all Repairs can be requested by placing a
call through the Fujitsu Services Connection.
Additionally there are SKEs that define the minimum set of
evidence, which should accompany Product Report Forms when
suspected errors are reported. Some products have further
entries describing the additional evidence required for
particular types of error.
At the time of writing, the SKE entries listed on the
following pages have been set up.
Clients should note that some of the products listed are no
longer available to new users. IONS68 gives details of
the current support status for VME superstructure products.
